Square Foot Show Art Alchemy Courtenay BC November 24, 2017



November 24, 7-10pm at Art Alchemy Studio. The Square Foot Show is a well attended juried group art show and sale where the art is all the same size and same price. All artwork shall be on sale for $200/ each ($150 to artist, $50 to Art Alchemy) As usual, the public will take the artwork they wish to buy directly off the wall and to Vicki in the Sales room. The opening will be a catered event, and there will be a cash bar, but each Artist is welcome to one complimentary glass of wine . Artists will receive cheques from Art Alchemy for artwork sold at Art Pick Up day December 2, 2017 at Art Alchemy Studio 11-4pm

Submission Requirements

A $30 hanging fee covers 1-3 submissions to the show, any additional paintings ( up to 10 total) are $5 each. *Submit up to 10 paintings Original art only (no reproductions) The artwork must be 12”x12” and no more than 3” deep (thick) The artwork may be any medium, but may not be framed with glass. Must be wired, ready to hang 2″ down from top of picture. See picture below *All artwork that is not wired shall be wired with a fee of 20$ Art Work Drop off day is Saturday November 18, at Art Alchemy Studio. 11-4pm Please come with your wired Artwork, Image List and cheque or cash for hanging fees.

OUT OF PROVINCE ARTISTS I welcome you to submit artwork and have it shipped through Greyhound or Purolator directly to me, Helen Utsal, 2311 Rosewall Cresent, Courtenay, BC, V9N 8R9 phone (250)218 2742 After the show I will pack up your work and ship it back with a cheque for artwork sold. Please use interac e transfer to pay for return shipping.

Other Details

After wiring your art work it should measure 2 inches from the outside top edge to the taut wire. (Where the nail will be.)

*All artwork that is not wired shall be wired with a fee of 20$

Coming Soon! We will email you the PDF file of the shows invitation. We will also send you the Square Foot Image List to download and print fill it out with the names of your works and media, and bring it with you when you drop off your art on November 18.
